Our mission is to create a medical home for uninsured families and individuals in Mecklenburg and Union counties. We not only treat our patients physically through primary care and specialty services, but we also provide behavioral health and education to empower and treat the whole individual. Matthews Free Medical Clinic (MFMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that provides free, quality health care to low-income, uninsured people.

Volunteer
Opportunities are available for both medical providers and non-medical volunteers. We could not provide the same level of high-quality care without our amazing volunteers!

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is funded by grants, foundations, civic organizations, Churches, private donors and annual fundraisers. Help us increase our impact and reach by donating to our organization today.
